Horlicks 'Doggie' Cookies

I saw this recipe on "Happy Home Baking" blog and was totally hooked! Love the fact that it is so simple to bake and contains no added sugar. I'm sure that when you see the look of these cookies, you'll want to start making them right away. Here's how:

HORLICKS 'DOGGIE' COOKIES
(should make about 40 cute pups!)

Ingredients
180g butter (room temperature)
80g Horlicks (original)
200g all purpose flour
25g corn flour
25g milk powder

Koko Krunch / Chocapic cereal (for the ears)
chocolate sprinkles (for the eyes)
chocolate chips (for the nose)

Methods

  1. Pre-heat the oven at 140 degrees Celcius. Line baking tray with baking sheet and set aside.
  2. Beat butter and Horlicks for about three minutes at low speed.
  3. Sieve the flour and milk powder before putting it into the Horlicks mix.
  4. Divide the dough into more or less 10 gram each. If you want, you can put three chocolate chips into each piece (but I forgot to do this) and roll into balls (I flattened them just a little bit!)
  5. Insert two pieces of Koko Krunch / Chocapic to form the ears, chocolate sprinkles for the eyes, and a chocolate chip for the nose. You can make an angry face or a sad face, it's all up to you!
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes until they're golden brown (baking time can vary depends on your oven.)
  7. Leave to cool on wire rack before storing them in an airtight container.
Easy peasy, right?
